Sustainable Water Environment Lancashire (SWEL) offers FREE advice and support to Lancashire businesses that recognise and wish to take advantage of the significant business and environmental benefits offered by improved water management.

The objectives of SWEL are to help businesses contribute to sustainability through reduced water demand and to reduce the risk of both site and local flooding through the introduction of water management techniques.

SWEL services are delivered by Groundwork’s Lancashire Business Environment Association (LancsBEA) in partnership with the Environment Agency.

LancsBEA provides high quality environmental, health and safety services to business, offering cost-effective practical support.

The Environment Agency has the principal aims of protecting and improving the environment and promoting sustainable development.
